In this stand-up style performance, the protagonist, played by Italian actress and writer Monica Faggiani, tells her story and her challenges as a feminist and as a mother of her teenage son.

ABOUT MONICA FAGGIANI

Actress, director and playwright Monica Faggiani graduated from the Accademia dei Filodrammatici in Milan and perfected her training with Leo De Berardinis, Federico Tiezzi, Walter Malosti, Elio De Capitani, and Peter Clough, among others. She has worked with many of the most important Italian directors, including Renato Carpentieri, Marco Baliani, Antonio Latella, Franco Branciaroli, Giulio Bosetti, Cristina Pezzoli. She has also appeared in several Italian feature films and TV dramas. Monica has directed MILF – Mamma, teach me happiness written and performed by Natalia Magni and selected at the 2019 Inventaria Festival, STORDITA – the Musical libretto by Tobia Rossi, music by Simone Manfredini, produced by Trublu in collaboration with Amat – Associazione Marchigiana Theatrical Activities. She is the author of four plays, including What remains – About shocking mobbing and other amenities selected for In Scena! Italian Theater Festival NY 2019. She is a teacher of Creative Writing for the Factory32 Theater School, Theater Counselor in Coaching and Corporate Training Projects. She is a founding member of Amleta, an association for the claim of women’s rights in entertainment, where she mainly deals with the representation and narration of women beyond gender stereotypes.
