Conversation with the comics artist David Marchetti about his sensational debut work, “Uno” nominated for “Micheluzzi” prize as best first work at Napoli Comicon 2022, about his creative process, his experience as an artist and his approach to the medium.

Talk in Italian with simultaneous translation into English.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

David Marchetti was born in Pietrasanta (Italy) in 1992. He graduated in 2019 in the course of illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. As a thesis work he created a book of about 400 pages entitled Uno(One). He recently started a collaboration with the Hollow Press publishing house which after reading Uno, decided to invest in the young author and make his first work public in 2021. He is currently working to his second project l’Osservatore(the Observer).
