As part of the 2019 TD Toronto Jazz Festival, Italian musicianship takes centre stage for the first ever Spotlight on Italy. From emerging talent to an Oscar winning composer, this showcase features musicians at every stage in their careers, highlighting the very best Italian jazz has to offer. Explore the sounds of Italy without leaving your doorstep!
Spotlight on Italy events are co-presented with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura with generous support from the Italian National Tourist Board. June 24 & 25 concerts are also co-presented with I-Jazz.
All concerts are free admission except for the June 20 presentation of Nicola Piovani.
