Dr Maria Laura Mosco and Dr Pietro Pirani present The Concept of Resistance in Italy: Multidisciplinary Perspectives, (London; Lanham, Maryland: Rowman and Littlefield International), an inspiring and multidisciplinary book on the concept of resistance in Italy from the onset of Fascism to today’s philosophical discourse.
The multidisciplinary scope allows for an historical, philosophical and artistic exploration of the concrete actions that define resistance to Fascism, and the Resistance Movement during WWII, their representations in literature, cinema, history and music, and the more abstract philosophical concept of resistance in a rapidly changing globalized world
The participants to the round table are Maria Laura Mosco and Pietro Pirani, also co-editors of the volume, and contributors Dr Antonio Calcagno, Dr Cristina Caracchini, Dr Luca Pocci, Dr Fabio Rizi, and Dr Nicolas Virtue.
The presentation will be in English
