La Musica che unisce (Music That Unites) is a unique event involving many great names in Italian music.
Its aim is to raise funds for the Dipartimento della Protezione Civile (Department of Civil Protection) as it continues to work on the front lines, dealing with the current emergency Italy is experiencing.
The artists will follow each other, performing original live sets from their homes, creating a lengthy stream of music for the public at large, in an effort to raise funds and to remind us how the connection between human beings, made possible through music, is essential to overcome the ongoing global emergency, together and responsibly.
Some of the artists who have generously pledged their time are: Andrea Bocelli, Il Volo & Riccardo Cocciante (Musical Composer – renowned stage musical Notre Dame de Paris)
Accurate and exhaustive information about the current outbreak will also be presented, thanks to infographics and informational videos created by the Ministero della Salute (Ministry of Health), together with experts from the scientific world who are entrusted with delivering in-depth messages regarding the current situation.
