The third edition of “Fare Cinema”, dedicated to the promotion of Italian cinema and its film industry, will take place June 15 to 21 and will be available in its entirety, online.
Selected events dedicated to Italian cinema and professionals in the sector will be available via the RaiPlay platform throughout the week and on the YouTube Channel of the Istituto Italiano di Cultura Toronto, starting Monday, June 15. Masterclasses with journalists and film critics, video lessons on the “craft of cinema”, original short films and other previously unpublished contents will be broadcast internationally, free of charge.
The festival will include a special tribute to Federico Fellini, on the centenary year of his birth, and to Alberto Sordi.
Saturday, June 20 marks the first “World Day of Italian Cinema”, which will also be celebrated.
“Fare Cinema” is an initiative of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation created in collaboration with MiBACT, ICE, ANICE, Istituto Luce Cinecittà.
