ONE NIGHT ONLY
Due to the current restrictions in place during the Covid-19 outbreak, DopoLavoro Teatrale (DLT) and the Istituto Italiano di Cultura present a digital version of the production of Leonardo’s Last Supper, this Friday, April 10. This show, originally produced by Villa Charities in 2019, is part of the Theatre On-Call series of performances.
The original event was half-immersive show / half-dinner party. Therefore, after the performance on Friday, a shared dinner party will follow: a digital potluck with whatever is in your fridge.
The performance unlocks the mysteries of Leonardo’s masterpiece: one of the most discussed, copied and interpreted paintings in the history of art. The performance is an homage to genius and beauty during this uncertain time of human history. The story is told in a very intimate and personal way by Daniele Bartolini with the special participation of chef, food educator and visual artist, Franco Berti.
