The oldest shoe ever found and in good state of conservation, dates back to 3,500 BC and was found in a cave in present-day Armenia: a woman’s shoe, size 37 ½, shaped from a single piece of cowhide, tied in the front and back with a leather cord. I also wear 37 ½. Where does our present life come from?
