ABOUT THE FILM “A FISH OUT OF WATER”

A FISH OUT OF WATER is a food adventure starring Italian Michelin-star chef, Lorenzo Cogo, on a journey to discover the origin of an iconic Italian dried codfish recipe, also known as stockfish. He travels deep into the north of Norway to an island whose livelihood has depended on the Italian stockfish recipes for 400 years. Cogo learns about the roots of this connection and creates new approaches to revive the stockfish tradition with Michelin-star chef, Mikael Svensson. The documentary premiered at the Venice Film Festival, where chefs, institutions and the press flocked to admire the unprecedented cultural and culinary journey of chef Cogo. The feature film will be preceded by an introduction by the film’s directors, and a chef from Eataly.
