Vivo d'arte | Competition for young Italian artists abroad

The third edition of Vivo d'Arte, the competition promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and  International Cooperation in collaboration with Fondazione Romaeuropa kicks off.  The competition is dedicated to young Italian artists, under the age of 36, who have been established residents abroad for a minimum of one year.

The categories of the competition are original contemporary works developed in the disciplines of theatre, dance and music, that expand on the theme of contamination - an encounter with the culture of the country of residence, offering a possible involvement of local artists.

The winning project will be represented in a national premiere as part of the next edition of the prestigious Romaeuropa Festival, which will be held in Rome from September 14 to November 21, 2021. To this end, the costs relating to the creation and production of the winning performance, the fee and hospitality will be covered within the limits of the ceilings indicated within the Regulations.

The deadline for receiving applications is set at 11:59 pm (Italian time) on May 31, 2021, according to the detailed procedures in the Regulations available in the attachment available for download below.
