This year marks the centenary of the birth of Pier Paolo Pasolini. As part of the schedule of events to mark the occasion, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, in collaboration with the Department of Italian Studies at the University of Toronto and Villa Charities, presents a talk on the iconic film director with Rhodes Scholar and author, Barth David Schwartz.

Barth David Schwartz will speak of the murder of Pier Paolo Pasolini, moving through the key phases of his life with reference to his work. Schwartz will also speak on the making of his biography, Pasolini Requiem.

Barth David Schwartz is a Rhodes Scholar who earned degrees from Harvard College and Yale Law School. His PASOLINI REQUIEM has been translated into Dutch, Swedish and Italian. A second edition of the work was published by the University of Chicago Press.
