Meet Giffoni Film Festival Creator, Claudio Gubitosi

The Istituto Italiano di Cultura a Toronto and the Italian Contemporary Film Festival invite you to participate in a vibrant encounter with Artistic Director and Founder of the world-renowned Giffoni Film Festival. Held each summer in Southern Italy, Giffoni is the largest and most important international film festival aimed at young viewers in the world, attracting tens of thousands of children from around the globe!

Help us welcome Claudio Gubitosi to Toronto, and celebrate the Festival’s 50th anniversary! (event by invitation only)

The mission of the Giffoni Film Festival has always been to enlighten and inspire younger audiences, through the art of cinema and the incredible world of filmmaking, and to offer the opportunity to interact with some of the biggest stars in Hollywood. The event, recognized and revered by cinephiles the world over, attracts more than 100-thousand visitors to the Naples area each year, and has caught the attention of some of the biggest personalities in the business, including Robert De Niro, Jennifer Aniston and Sergio Leone.

Please join us on for an intimate encounter with Claudio Gubitosi. Enjoy dynamic discussion on the countless opportunities for collaboration, tourism initiatives, international cooperation, and the celebration of multiculturalism in our community, followed by a light aperitivo reception.
