Two women of today, two sisters, two opposite ways of being in the world: Livia and Tina, both in their fourties, close to each other and still different. Livia is a beautiful and strong-willed cellist, with a rock soul. Modesta, nicknamed Tina, is a shy urban policeman who has put aside her degree in exchange for a permanent job. Both have a partner: Livia lives with Fabio, a sweet and charismatic osteopath, Tina with Gianni, an ordinary and intolerant colleague. Livia has always defended her position as a woman who does not want to have children, while Tina has been trying for years to become pregnant, to no avail. When Tina, after many attempts, begins to lose her mind, Livia, advised by a friend gynecologist, decides to carry on a pregnancy for her.

MICHELA ANDREOZZI
Michela Andreozzi made her debut on TV with “Domenica In” and “This is not RAI”, working with Gianni Boncompagni. Later, she formed the comic duo Gretel & Gretel with Francesca Zanni, starting in a small amateur theatre in October 1996. She and Francesca Zanni worked together until 2002 in many TV shows, as “Zelig”, “Curlers”, “Crazy Camera” and “Telerentola”. In 2005, she is recruited in the cast of the action serial “The Squad”, until 2007. The year 2010 marks her debut as film actress in Basilicata Coast to Coast, directed by Rocco Papaleo, with Alessandro Gassman and Giovanna Mezzogiorno. Michela is also the author of texts for the radio and the theatre: “Open Heart” with Max Tortora, “Why Don’t You Stay for Breakfast?” and “What Happened to Cinderella?”. Nove lune e mezza is her first film as director.
