The fascinating story of Dante Alighieri caters to a young audience with the show “The Divine Comedy for Children”. Dante’s masterpiece is presented as an interesting narration, reassuring us with the promise of a transformation and a final “rebirth”. The Divine Comedy is the spark that ignites the narration of a great fairytale on the sense of justice, on the difference between good and evil, and on the immortality of the soul. Meanwhile an overhead projector casts on a gigantic white screen the ancient art form of shadow puppetry, while the voice of an actor guides the young audience through the forms, the colours and the figures of mysterious characters, drawn by the illustrator Laura Cortini in 50 original scenes.
