“60 Years Of Made In Italy”

60 Years of Made in Italy” is the exhibition organized to celebrate the history and evolution of Italian style and fashion. When it comes to the amazing scope of work accumulated over a span of several decades, Italian fashion truly endures. Today, there is still a keen international appetite for designs that bear the mark of “Made in Italy”.

More than 50 treasured pieces selected by Fiorella Galgano and Alessia Tota will be showcased from May 30 to June 30 at Yorkville Village, 55 Avenue Rd, Toronto, from various archives and private collections.

Stunning high fashion garments. Unique creations. Pret-a’-porter items. A marvellous gallery of the best products of Italian creativity. The history of customs, elegance, style. From Emilio Schuberth to the Sorelle Fontana, from Roberto Capucci to Valentino. And then, Sarli, Lancetti, Renato Balestra, Marella Ferrera, Brioni, Giorgio Armani, Laura Biagiotti, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce&Gabbana, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gianfranco Ferre’, Gucci, Crizia, Max Mara, Missoni, Moschino, Prada, Trussardi, Versace and many others. The exhibition, curated by Fiorella Galgano and Alessia Tota, has reached Toronto thanks to the Consulate General of Italy and the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in collaboration with Yorkville Village.
