The Istituto Italiano di Cultura is pleased to announce the ICFF Youth 2018, which will be taking place from April 13th to April 19th. This year ICFF Youth is truly expanding the selections of films to encompass international content, as the prime goal for ICFF Youth is to celebrate not only the large Italian community we have here in Toronto and the GTA, but also the multicultural demographics as a whole. The ICFF Youth 2018 screenings will be shown at TIFF Bell Lightbox, Cineplex Vaughan, Cineplex Yorkdale and Silver City Richmond Hill.
Over the past five years, ICFF Youth has successfully organized a film festival dedicated to children and youth, with ages ranging from 8 to 18. The main objective is to enable the screenings of youth films in Italian and other languages, to entertain and educate adolescence on a cultural level. With over 30 schools and more than 3000 students participating, the initiative is continually looking to grow and offer more schools the possibility to collaborate with us, in addition to our long standing partnership with the TCDSB, YCDSB, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, Centro Scuola, the Italian Consulate General and the Portuguese Consulate General of Toronto.
